Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Brewer - Easy, Fast and cost efficient I have now had a K55 for a month and love it! Prior to that I had a similar Keurig Classic brewer for 11 years a loved that. Traded it because that was starting to get noisy and because my wife now prefers the red color. :-)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Expected Better from Keurig After looking at a selection of single-cup brewers I decided to go with a Keurig based on its reputation. It's been a month since I purchased a K55 and am very disappointed in how weak my usual coffee tastes even when using the smallest cup size setting. I bought a bunch of dark roast pods which I'm combining with my regular pods...in other words, I'm using two pods until I finish up my regular brand. Unless you like weak coffee, I would suggest going straight to a dark-roast. Another issue is with the "add water" light coming on even when the reservoir is filled to capacity. I remedied this my removing the filter entirely. I use water from my Zero Water pitcher anyway so it's already filtered. Beats me why the filter causes issues.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Spend a little more $ Ok so if you could care less about Brew Strength or the heat of your coffee, purchase this model. I however am spoiled and have had 3 Keurigs, this is the worst one to date! And I just got it 3 days ago. It seems like it’s also shorting my cup and not giving me a full cup. If you want a Keurig go with the Plus, it’s the best one out there! Now I’ve got to buy one!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the pot for our family I bought this about a year ago but did not take out of the box until recently when my "better Keurig" finally stopped working. (I had bought this one because my better pot was acting up...but must have scared it since it worked for another year. But this coffee taste like dishwater would( I have never drank dishwater but....). It is not very Hot either. So will be looking at buying another Keurig... Probably the Elite

Rated 1 out of 5 by from awful machine I purchased this keurig to replace a machine I had had for a couple of years.... which I absolutely loved. the k55 was loud, slow, water reservoir was very difficult to put back, and it was impossible to tell when to add water. Because I couldn't stand using it daily at home, I took it to work to use for an occasional cup of afternoon coffee. The machine has seen very little actual usage (less than 100 cups of coffee) and died in less than 15. I hesitate to buy another keurig because I'm concerned I will get another piece of junk.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed Purchased my unit from the PX at Fort Polk, LA approximately 15 months ago. I have been having problems of shortage of correct amount of water being dispensed. 2 weeks ago it stopped working completely. Bought a Kerrigan descaling package which had filter replacement from Bed Bath and Beyond $19.95. Went through the descaling and system started to work again. Now today it has quit again. I’ve cleaned the upper needle with paperclip as shown on YouTube and now it is showing the out of water light even though the reservoir is full of filtered water plus the descale lightnis on again. Nothing is helping with the problem this time. After reading the reviews I feel that it would be a waste of money to purchase the Keurig K-Elite which I was leaning toward for a replacement. I have call customer service and was told there was nothing that could be done to resolve this issue as my unit was out of warranty. At this point I am frustrated and upset. It appears that the reviews on the Keurig site has had several issues with the same problems. If someone from Keurig would like to contact me I can be reached at email account.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pass On Keurig This model was a replacement for a previous Keurig which broke after the warranty expired. Now, the K55, which I've had about 18 months or so, has broken. Keurig offered me the same machine for $72.00. I don't think so. I've read reviews where individuals state they've had their Keurig for years! I'm curious where they are buying these machines since I haven't had much luck at all. Sorry, I'm not about to pay for another machine when obviously it's a quality control issue ... again.
